Usually I would go for the one that's closer but I've read a few posts that said it's not good to be too close because then you cant see what's going on at the back of the stage. However, no one has said specifically what is "too close". Both EE and JJ are end row seats so a little off center.

I have only sat in the Pit for concerts and while it is a good time, if I wanted to see the whole orchestra I would look a bit further back. I would aim for a bit in front of the soundboard. I have not sat in the mezzanine (usually my preferred for Broadway shows), but at Radio City it seems a bit far back.
